Our Thematic Areas – What We Work On

Climate-Resilient & Gender-Responsive Health Systems

We aim to strengthen health systems and community infrastructure to prepare for climate-related health risks. Youth will explore climate-smart health facilities, WASH improvements, and gender-responsive designs. They may also lead monitoring of climate-sensitive diseases like malaria and cholera, supporting early warning systems and stronger community resilience.

Youth Policy, Advocacy & Governance

We are building opportunities for young people to influence climate and health policy. Youth will advocate for inclusive policies, including SRH, and contribute to integrating youth perspectives into NDCs, NAPs, and health strategies. They will also act as “watchdogs,” monitoring implementation and promoting transparent governance.

Innovation, Research & Digital Health

We aim to inspire youth to explore research, technology, and innovation to address climate and health challenges. Youth may engage in localized, age- and gender-disaggregated research, develop digital tools for monitoring and education, and explore green innovations and sustainable solutions for health and the environment.

Community Health, Preparedness & Mental Well-being

We focus on supporting community readiness and youth well-being in the face of the climate crisis. Youth-led initiatives will address risk communication, health promotion, and disaster preparedness. Peer-led programs will support mental health, tackling climate anxiety and eco-grief. Together, we aim to foster resilient and informed communities.
